The Vocational Day School – Terms & Conditions

1. Enrolment and Attendance

1.1 Enrolment at The Vocational Day School constitutes an agreement to abide by these Terms and Conditions.

1.2 Students are expected to attend all scheduled classes within their enrolled block. Absences do not qualify for fee reductions or refunds.

1.3 Any changes to a student’s timetable or withdrawal from the programme must be submitted in writing to the school office.

2. Payment Terms

2.1 Fees are invoiced in 6-week blocks.

2.2 Full payment is required no later than 7 days prior to the commencement of each new block.

2.3 Failure to make payment by the due date may result in a student’s place being suspended until fees are settled.

2.4 Late payments may incur an administration fee at the school’s discretion.

2.5 All fees are non-refundable once the block has commenced.

3. Notice Period

3.1 A minimum of 6 weeks’ written notice is required to withdraw a student from the programme.

3.2 Notice must be provided in writing to the school office (email or letter).

3.3 Fees remain payable throughout the 6-week notice period, regardless of attendance.

4. Missed Classes and Absence

4.1 Refunds or credits cannot be issued for missed classes, including absences due to illness, holidays, or external commitments.

4.2 In the event of staff illness or unavoidable school closure, the school will aim to offer a make-up session or suitable alternative where possible.

5. Conduct and Expectations

5.1 Students are expected to arrive on time, appropriately dressed, and ready to learn.

5.2 The school reserves the right to suspend or terminate enrolment in cases of persistent misconduct, disruption, or non-compliance with school policies.

5.3 Respectful behaviour towards staff, peers, and property is mandatory at all times.

6. Health and Safety

6.1 Parents/guardians must inform the school of any medical conditions, allergies, or injuries relevant to participation.

6.2 The Vocational Day School takes safeguarding seriously and follows the relevant policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students.

6.3 Students participate in all activities at their own risk, and parents/guardians accept responsibility for ensuring their child is physically fit to take part.

7. Communication

7.1 All official communication regarding payments, scheduling, or notice should be made via the school’s administration email or in writing.

7.2 The school will provide updates and reminders via email or the parent portal. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to ensure contact details are kept up to date.

8. Policy Amendments

8.1 The Vocational Day School reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions with reasonable notice.

8.2 Any significant changes will be communicated to enrolled families in advance of the next payment block.
